That was many years ago but our love of film has never waned. After we got married and both of our careers got nice and steady we were able to start to build a home theater of our own. We started building the the theater about 15 years ago and it has evolved into something that we are both very proud of. Friends, neighbors, our kids and their friends all love it when we have a movie night, the kids especially love it when we hook up the xbox to the system (I do as well).

Our home theater is in a dedicated area of our basement and contains an embarrassing amount of equipment. From the projector hanging on the ceiling to bass shakers in the seats my wife and I have tried to build our ideal theater and I think we have succeeded quite nicely. Take a look at what we have built, we hope you enjoy our theater as much as we do and I hope my writings here are both educational and helpful to any of you out in the cyber world who happen to read.
